Data recovery

Have you had a hard drive crash? Are you getting blue screen system errors? Perhaps your critical business data has disappeared or you
can't find those irreplaceable pictures or precious videos? Well, all may not be lost. It would be foolish to offer absolute guarantees, but in many cases the data isn't gone forever, its just not accessible.
We have tools and resources available that can frequently recover
those lost files. Give us a call if disaster strikes...we can help.

On free software

There's an old adage that reads "There ain't no such thing as a free lunch!" which of course implies that somewhere along the way it will cost you something.
Well, we're here to tell you that isn't necessarily so. The computer industry was founded on users doing it themselves which led to an entire community of skilled programmers and technicians who share their expertise and work with the public at large for free or in some cases nearly free. That means the next time you feel compelled to go to your local "Expensive Computers 'R Us!" for software, take a look around for what's available for free (or if its shareware, at a very low cost).
Don't know where to look? Click on DOWNLOADS for help and links to some of our favourites.

Our webstore

We've discussed the free stuff...now here's the sales pitch.
We have some product listings online and while the list is far from comprehensive but it does give a fair representation of the range of products we cover. If what your are looking for isn't listed, please give us a call or write us for a quote. You'll find that we're competitive, easy to deal with and most importantly we'll treat you with the respect you deserve. Just click WEBSTORE for more.

One last note, for the moment you'll have to cut and paste the information into the order form. We are looking for a shopping cart and while there are dozens of them out there, we're still trying to find one that doesn't require hiring the staff of mega corporation to administer.

HP Notebook Battery Recall!

Hewlett Packard has voluntarily recalled about 70,000 laptop batteries installed in some HP and Compaq laptops. HP says the affected batteries, made between August 2007 and January 2008, could overheat, posing a fire and burn hazard. It's important to note that not all batteries in all models sold during this time are affected and you should check to see if yours is affected. If it is, the defective battery will be replaced for free. Click HERE  for more information.
